The Superman theme is iconic and incredible. From the starting fanfare to the uplifting main melody. It’s reminiscent but way better of the original cartoon themes, an incredible march for a hero. Plus, it literally says “Superman” right in the melody - don’t tell me you can’t hear it!

I’m literally listening to it right now and it’s one of his better works. And for John Williams, that’s saying something. It has such an epic, heroic feel to it.

Don’t need to read Marvel anymore. I expect a full regression to the boring that’s plagued DC comics. If I’m wrong, I’ll gladly take a recommendation on any book.

It might surprise you to know that actual Japanese people never had a problem with Cebulski’s pseudonym, or the reasons for it. It was, in fact, a non-story in my home country (Japan).

Not to mention the other systemic issues Asian-Americans face.

having the EiC of a major publisher downplay politically themed stories while women, people of color, and queer people in the comics community are being targeted by hateful crusades of harassment wasn’t the best call.

Meanwhile, at Disney World, Johnny fucking Depp has been immortalized in a ride and is likely to appear in another Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
