Correct. A full meltdown doesnt have to result in a radiation leak. Depends on how the containment vessel holds up. When it melts through the reactor core, it pools in a containment vessel directly below it.

Incorrect. 1080p is indiscernible at that screen size from 720p. You can't actually any difference what so ever till about 40inch. Even at that size, its tough to tell.
