Not sure why this was @me... What is this reason? And what would you recommend?

You are aware that you can unroot before you take your phone in to get repaired?

You have an enormous amount of credibility Spartacus. I shall take your opinion over the tech bloggers and Samsung.

If you dont like it...dont get one. I use my cell phone 5% at best for phone calls. I use it far more for video, music, web, texting...Go get a jitterbug. If I can put a netbook in my pocket, I would.

As previously mentioned...the bottleneck was determined to be not the copper. They put a 1 gigabit cap on fiber which is the same as current copper systems. Therefore they run at the same speed. Therefore, dont offer any benefit to the end user. Infrastructure wise, it is great.

"Inside, they found a man"

Its a conglomerate...They have Gawker for stories like this...

Too funny. Your point is moot...considering it doesnt mention ANY OF THOSE TECHNOLOGIES. Its an obituary.

Interesting...but this is a tech blog.

Maybe you should read the entire convo. Fiber or copper doesnt matter...they limit it to 1gigabit. FIOS offers no benefits over copper at the moment. and even though its to the house, there is still copper or wireless from the router.

If you would have read the whole article...Fiber or copper doesnt matter...they limit it to 1gigabit.

Tossed his salad and dried!

10% efficiency? Its normal to find 20-25% efficiency in commercial crystalline single cells.

Thats all I meant, its marketing tomfoolry. I just was speaking of the material bottleneck. I was not aware of the gigabit cap in place.

Ill let you get hit with the ton of bricks...Ill take the ton of feathers.

No.

If you were to have a copper line to your house and a fiber line to your house...did speed tests on the both of them, they come out equal. Except in terms of long distance.

Think of it like driving back to your house. Fiber is like the interstate. High capacity, high speed. Then imagine all that traffic trying to get down the shitty bumpkin road to your house.

It is Kinect
