What is your actual point?

And yet, there are a lot of emotion based responses, not ones based on logic nor reason and people coming up with wild theories, like I’m trying to self-assure myself about something instead of just showcasing to the world what kind of people think features like these in games are a good idea.

“Being killed in a game where a primary function of the gameplay is to kill or be killed =/= valid comparison. Nor is teabagging a common real-life abuse when compared to uninvited groping”

Just look at them go!

So the next time someone walks thru my female avatar, I’ll just shout rape/sexual harassment. Gotcha.

Belamire said that the alleged virtual groping, while not real, is still “scary as hell.”

“sexual harassment online in VR”

Thank god ive been triggered so many time after a dude teabags my dead body in Halo.

I literally stopped reading after

“last week that the avatar of someone she didn’t know virtually groped her in the online mulitplayer game QuiVR.”

WTF kinda world do we live in where this shit right here gets attention.

It certainly didn’t help that Manfred referred to the meeting as a “powwow”.

until I see his taxes, I doubt he’s a billionaire

It’s funny, because I don’t think most of us necessarily disagree that the situation itself is bad, or that things suck for some or a lot of us right now, but rather on how to go about doing anything about it. HamNo would have you think that having a central planning government doling out fairness and benefit checks

Oh great, more elementary-level economics from Comrade Nolan on Deadspin...

let’s talk about how to stop sharing this stuff from the Concourse

Thankfully, Salt-N-Pepa went back to the drawing board after that first draft.

No, but I’m telling you why publishers prefer that method.

I understand your frustration. At least you’re not wallowing in the hyperbole of Ben Kuchera.

I hope someone who works for the Indians has thought to invite Charlie Sheen to throw out the first pitch at one of the games in Cleveland.

I think a lot of fans today simply don’t see games media as a trustworthy source of information on whether or not they should play a game. Word of mouth from like-minded individuals plays a bit part, YouTubers obviously play a huge part.
