Well in todays society, garnering support is a key thing to do. Doing it such a way that disrupts normal everyday life is a guarenteed surefire way to completely torpedo your cause in an instant.

That’s not why activists hold protests - which is different from oppportunits looting, and which real activists hate because people like you focus solely on that.
There are ways to engage symapthy. Then their are ways to enourage people to not be sympathetic to your causes.
