As a professional alcoholic/pothead, the mixing of weed and liquor is a dangerous dance. If you are drinking all night and then smoke any amount of weed, you are pretty much guaranteed to have a problem. You will get the spins/puke/blackout or all 3.

I work in the auto stamping industry and we have to remachine form blocks all the time to get parts into spec, if this can add material onto a 3d surface it could eliminate having to shim stuff up to replace material. But for turbines and 5 axis milling it looks like it has a lot of potential.

My high school physics teacher demonstrated how sound waves travel with a long pvc pipe with pin holes poked through the top then filling it with gas and lighting the top on fire. When a sound was made at the end of the pipe, you could see the sound wave travelling in the lines of fire above the pipe. Good stuff.
