This was all covered pretty definitively in John Cougar Mellencamp's "Rain On The Scarecrow" video.

Their next film should be called Gym, amrite?
*fart*
-_-
We use a large vibrating egg.
More like Obummer, amirite comrade?
Sounds like a particularly humiliating sexual act.
Worst TV Trope ever!
Well, unless Fuller is straight up lying, that seems pretty unambiguous. Crazy.
Maybe he just stopped by the Whole Foods meat counter and said "Do you have any cuts of pork that taste just like human flesh?"
Yes, Will actually murdering someone in cold blood (as opposed to killing in self defense as with Tier) would basically break the show.
I'm not sure what to make of that shot. If it is Lounds, then the show has taken a huge departure from the books. If it isn't Lounds, then they're using a pretty memorable scene from Red Dragon before they've even gotten into that territory.
Maybe because Hannibal now sees Will as his protege, who is looking to Hannibal for guidance, he figures Will wouldn't try to kill him (at least not yet).
Yeah, it's like he's trying to channel Heath Ledger's Joker, except this isn't that kind of show. On the other hand, this series has so many subdued, minimalist performances that it is kind of interesting to see a character behaving more outlandishly.
I guess I won't have thinly sliced roast beef for lunch after all.
My feeling is that Chilton is recuperating in some "undisclosed location" under FBI protection, and they're letting people believe he's dead so that the real Chesapeake Ripper doesn't go after him. Anyone who knows about this wouldn't reveal it in conversation, so it would make sense that references to him on the show…
All you need is kill
Everybody!
You found the episode too…grizzly?
