Your mom's an ethos! A sexy, sexy ethos who could teach me so much about life.
yes
Quite possibly, yes.
Going out on a limb here, but there's a decent chance this film will be a great big steaming pile of shit.
SoCo was my liquor of choice until my senior year at Madison, when it finally made me sick once too often and I couldn't even smell it anymore without becoming nauseated. Even now as an oldster, just thinking about that sickly sweet concoction makes my stomach turn.
Can I just say this fucking sucks. Woody Allen has been one of my cinema idols since I was a kid. Films like Annie Hall, Stardust Memories, Manhattan and Hannah & Her Sisters were among the first films I encountered that made me realize how profoundly affecting cinema could be, not just as entertainment but as…
I don't think Weide's motivations are relevant here, unless it can be shown that he made up his facts for the article, which doesn't seem to be the case. He's completely forthright about his relationship with Allen and the fact that he's just presenting the case for Allen's side of the story, which is fair. Weide…
One of the most depressing movies I've ever seen.
These are lost drunken men who don't know where they are, but do care! And these are men who know where they are and care, but don't drink!

Is that you, Max Hardcore?

The funny thing about the show is that many of the criminals are actually better adjusted and more grounded than Raylan. They may commit heinous crimes, but they're at peace with their vocations and enjoy strong family relationships. Unlike Raylan, who hated his father, most of these guys are dutifully following in…
I kinda see Raylan as a selfish hero — he believes in doing right, but he's not above bending the law for self-serving reasons, and he's not any more immune to foolish pride than the bad guys.
In an interview last year, King did mention that he was considering going back and revising the post-accident books — particularly the stuff with him in it as a character, which he kind of regrets and might remove.
That's the thing — I hate coming off like a pedantic jackass, and it's definitely not about slavish adherence to grammar and spelling rules. It's the aggravation of being knocked out of a piece of writing because I've stumbled over some dumb error, and I know the writer knows better and is just being sloppy.
Archmage, as long as you don't say "Walla!" when casting a conjuration spell, I have no quarrel with you!
