I completely agree. Really good scene and have Mrs Goodchild dead on the table while they are discussing it all added to it I think.

It's because she's racist and sees everything as intersectionality first and not the individual. 3 solid actors applying their craft. That's what I saw and all I saw.

And it would be pretty maddening if that monologue was given to a white actor just to show that racial inequities aren’t “only the job of black people to ponder”.

A&E’s endgame is to not end the show until it dips below a viewership threshold that makes its ad revenue unsustainable. No matter how long they have to make it lumber along. Even though it’s current ratings are a fraction of the show’s unprecedented heights it’s still pulling huge numbers compared to other non-pay

An insulator would only matter if the walkers actually produce body heat. If not there’s nothing to insulate they would be the same temperature as the snow which is frozen.

Couldn’t they have just asked Lydia what the Whisperers do in the winter? I mean, she could have told them they migrate south and then there would have been no reason to cross the river, right? Too obvious?

Older Cadillac? That’s about a 99.999% certainty. Good catch. ;^)

Don’t sweat the haters, your recaps are the best part of watching this show.

But Gods thrive of belief not facts, these days we take our tech for granted we only notice if our always on high speed internet isn’t working, when it does it’s business as usual. New Media could supplant the God of Technology when viewed in that light.

I signed on to this site to let you know I have enjoyed your posts more than the actual show for years now.

It seems like we should care about Odin’s war because he’s cool. That’s it, that’s the whole case the show makes for it.

I wonder if the writers on this show are more proud to be working on one of the highest rated shows on television, or deeply ashamed to be working on one of the worst written shows on television?

Soylent Green’s The Walking Dead Stray Observations: No One Told Me It Would Be This Long Edition:

They used to sacrifice horses to Odin, the car (A iron horse) was the modern version.

I can’t be sure it was McShane either (did he even speak?), but it seemed like a Wednesday thing to do.

Reading SoylentGreen’s recap is the only reason I still watch this hackneyed show

Oh come now.  There’s no trope too worn out for TWD not to do seven or eight times.
