It was a game that the studio promised a bunch of stuff and then not only failed to deliver, but delayed telling people that it wasn’t going to happen until well after launch. It took away a game people had paid for and replaced it with what most people feel is an inferior experience, and then threw such a heavy

Or diamond studded swimming pools!  Those things don’t grow on trees!

That’s kind of my issue with it too... I never really feel like I can come back to a boss later on because I got more levels to overcome the challenge, which is the normal Diablo experience.

I love how you go with this take on an actual question about what is to be gained from leveling other than skills.  So truly out there.

I’m saying he isn’t a bad voice actor, not that he was a good Mario.  That isn’t his fault, he was never going to give a Mario impression people wanted.  It also doesn’t help that he’s stepping into the shoes that Charles Martinet has filled for over two decades now.

I’m still waiting for the patch that fixes most of the nerfs they did... I took a break when they said they were going to do so, no idea when that patch is coming.

I would argue that Chris Pratt did a fantastic job, just not as Mario.  He showed plenty of emotion, it didn’t sound exactly like Chris Pratt’s normal voice, and generally had great voice direction.  If he weren’t playing Mario, he would have received praise for his role.  Seth Rogan, on the other hand, was literally

There’s nothing complicated about it. Blizzard took a good game, made it worse and forced in disgusting monetization that made loot boxes look friendly in comparison while also announcing the canceling of the promised PvE content months after the decision had been made... during which time they continued to advertise

I mean, everything scales with you, so other than skills, what is the point of leveling?

If Sony doesn’t own the rights to the knock off, why are they allowed to remove videos of it from Youtube?

Oddly enough, its been longer since the initial release of the last Elder Scrolls game (not counting MMO stuff or rereleases of Skyrim) than the last Armored Core game... I hadn’t even realized that until this article.

I agree.  There are too many separate forms of damage up and damage down that have to be managed, and it just doesn’t really make the combat interesting because its a real time ARPG where you can’t really keep track of everything all at once.

That’s fair... most of my experience with Blizzard is from Warcraft 3 on.

I mean, you can’t expect all classes to hit the same... its a Blizzard product, and if there is anything they’re known for its an inability to balance classes/characters.

Correction: When you unlock Ifrit’s abilities, it directly tells you they are linked to the Phoenix Eikon set.  There is no confusion about it if you read the tutorial that pops up then.

More like they did it because they’re an asshole. Tricking someone to look at a Rick Roll video is “for the lulz”, giving someone $2500 and then sayin nevermind and taking it back is a bullshit move that should get that user permabanned, especially since they’ve done this multiple times, apparently.

My favorite thing about the censorship for Sailor Moon’s Haruka and Michiru is that they changed it from a lesbian relationship to an INCESTUOUS Lesbian Relationship.  They made them cousins to explain the closeness between the two, but left in a couple of scenes where they kissed... I was laughing so hard when the

Not only is he on the box, but Mog was also the main star of all of the magazine ads for FFIII(A)/FFVI. They showcased him being a destroyer of monsters and being 100% casual about it... which is a shame, because they came out when I was trying to avoid cutesy main character games, and I assumed that FFIII(A) was a

The secondary ability of Garuda’s grab is another reason to keep her equipped.  When you hit that 50% stagger mark, use it to slam them to the ground for a longer combo window.

Wait... hold on... I think you replied to me in error with that comment, as NOW I’m seeing the comment where you explain what was wrong (which I will agree is conclusive that they were hacked).  Kotaku’s message system does it again.
