Angry Joe’s entire schtick is in his name: Angry. While I’m sure he has legitimate complaints about FO76(everyone does), I never trust his reviews any more, because he will find the most pedantic thing to be upset at a game over because otherwise he can’t be angry at it...

Oh, I get it, you’re one of the ones who hasn’t played it but jumped on the hate bandwagon.  Seeing how there are still times my friends have to start over on a new server to get someone to join because ours is full, your comment is as wrong as your hate boner is.

Now now, this isn’t Final Fantasy XV’s first half.

“It isn’t one I, or most of the community wanted” That was YOU, speaking for the community. Not the community I interact with every day, the ones on the Bethesda forums or reddit. I don’t know WHO you speak for, but it isn’t the people who are still playing and enjoying the game, which is still quite large.

That’s a one week difference... You’re going to chose any minor difference to “be right”, even though you are clearly wrong about it being unprecedented.

Unprecedented my ass... in 2010, I worked at Walmart on Black Friday, and Call of Duty: Black Ops and Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood were both on sale for $40. Neither of those had to go on sale to recoup losses, yet both were $20 off.

I paid full price for something that I feel will eventually be well worth every cent I spent on it. The announcements for the next two patches already shows me they’re working on addressing issues. They didn’t “scam” me, because so far they have provided exactly what I was promised: A multiplayer Fallout experience

First off, as someone who has worked retail focused on video games for several years, let me tell you that publishers have the authority to tell vendors not to put something on sale/reduced price. Otherwise there is nothing that prevents a company for selling the title at less than other companies to receive a reduced

The point of a game is to have fun playing it.  If it meets that mark for some people (like myself), then it isn’t a failure.  I’m not saying it’s perfect (far from it, in fact) and there are a number of things I would change were I in creative control, but I’m not gonna say it’s unplayable or a complete failure.

It was not “Marked down”.  It went on a sale.  Black Friday/Cyber Monday almost ALWAYS has a sale on new release games.

I might need to pick up that Squirrel Girl and Spider Gwen...
EDIT: Forgot to mention that Squirrel Girl is my Spirit Animal-themed-Superheroine

It’s almost like some people like to support companies...

Were we not dealing with the current GOP/Republican party, I would harshly disagree with you about striving for Bipartisanship...  a damned shame we have a need for a failing congress that does nothing just to try and prevent actual corruption from spreading too far...

Except it isn’t a bug. A bug is when code works incorrectly. A feature is when it works as intended. Rockstar has already stated that the long arm loadout is designed to act the way it is... they also acknowledge that the reaction to it is negative and they are planning to address it in a patch at some point.

Just

That was more or less my point.  If the release date comes, and the game is still in the shape it’s in (which is obviously a beta state), then there is a significant problem.  I’m enjoying my experience, but I will also be very upset with Bethesda if this is how they wish to represent a product as a proper release.

Counter Argument, they have actually been taking bug reports and working on fixes... you know, like the one that’s the focus of this article.  This IS a Beta... the question is how long the Beta lasts past the release date.

Both examples are settings which only affect you, on your end, as they are specifically UI adjustments. They have no impact on how other players perceive you, nor do they give you a statistical advantage. They would not be violations of the ToS of the game. The edit in this case specifically gives an advantage, which

We’ll have to agree to disagree. Everyone in the community I’m part of states that regular players don’t take part in modifying their files in such a manner, that they stick to using in game options. This is coming from a group of speed runners, streamers, let’s players and even a couple of high end tournament players

I perfectly understand what’s going on, and if this was a single player experience I would say “Go ahead and cheat, have fun how you want to.” However, much like real world freedoms, there are limitations to what is and isn’t allowable within the system. You have freedom to do what you want UNTIL it infringes on the

I do have standards, they’re just different than yours. This game is currently hitting all of the good notes that bring me into it, and the few bad notes are fixable ones that can be explained easily with “It’s a Beta”. If they persist past the launch date, then yes, it’s a big problem... but since they’ve been
