No question about that - I guess I just thought if Piz was commiserating with someone, it would be Duncan, not Vinnie. Anthony Strand is right that Duncan was not hated so much as forgotten or- I don't know, tolerated? Although he did have one of the better exits of a randomly dropped character on a TV show.

Oh, great!

You'd think that the much-hated character role would be filled by Teddy Dunn.

I never read Tristam Shandy and still enjoyed the hell out of that film. Does that mean I should read Tristam Shandy?

She is credited as a co-editor of the film but very easily could have been the lead.

Is this different than The Complete Book of Werewolves by Sabine Barine Gould? This one is awesome if you haven't checked it out.

Hiddleston is a terrific mimic as well as a good singer.

Yeah, I loved that "I knew I would suck at this!" thing he had going. I truly couldn't tell if that was his honest response to the show or if it was a prepared shtick.

Yep! If anyone in your mom's family went there from '87 to '91 I may know them - heck there were only 200 people per year so I almost cerainly know them.
I feel like we had a very clever name for the big hole awaiting development but I of course don't remember. I think I went to that mall once when visiting in 96

Circle Center Mall was still a big hole in the ground when I left in '94. I went to college up in N Manchester so Indy was a culural smorgasborg for me.

YES! Phoenix Theatre in the church basement!

I lived there for 2.5 years and while it took a little searching to find cool things to do, they were there. Movies on the lawn at the art museum during the summer, concerts at Butler, some neat underground theatre, minor league baseball. This was years ago though (20, I think. yikes!).

Abdullah is a pretty good-looking dude.

Cool! I would also add for your consideration the commentaries for Arrested Development and NewsRadio as ensembles that are incredibly funny off-script.

No, I haven't, but if the commentaries are really good I may purchase a boxed set whenever that becomes available.

I agree with Hardwicke being a great host for this. I know who he is but not being a podcast listener (and I realize I'm probably missing out on some great stuff) I am not that familiar with him and have really been taken with him on this show.

Honestly I was shocked at how funny the Community crew was.

I love the filmed version of Pirates of Penzance with Kevin Kline and Linda Ronstadt. And…Rex Smith? From 1983? God I'm feeling old.

Now that I know it exists I will definitely seek it out!

I replied to Lemur's question but really I don't want it to fail - I would love to see a great filmed version of Chess.
