@bobpence: Definitely digging the self's stem cell approach.

Nice to have it from the horse's mouth at least. Props on the specifically stated entitlement to private screening.

Hey, didn't I hear Apple tell me that iOS 4.1 might fix my iPhone 3G's slowness? As much as I'd like to upgrade to the 4, I don't qualify for an upgrade through f*$#!@% AT&T until March. FML.

Vote: GoDaddy

Dumb, dumb, dumb. How'd that thought process get started?

As an avid video gamer and Iraq veteran, I'm down with playing a game which emotionally and ideologically motivtes me. Interested to see how it goes.

You're confused as f*%!, you can tell it's a Dell.

Yeah, way to be behind the times. A whole year behind, USAA iPhone app FTW!

I only found the thing to be mildly noisy. That's it, not bad enough for a recall when they're trying to do the right thing.

Epic Fail!

@Contradictions: Wow, way to read too far into it. Since when does a Scouting publication (which most don't subscribe to) rely on implying their value system through a line about how the kids "may not recognize" the difference between purchased and non-purchased music?

You know, seeing how the Boy's Life publication is very regulated and trying to offer one mechanism for parents potentially questioning how to handle such a situation in the first place, since this just seems silly to me I'd just discount the silly advice.

@blinovitch: NeoOffice is slow, but I just tried it myself and was able to edit a simple text document in just under 20 seconds. That's with Mail.app, iTunes, Safari, and a couple other lightweight apps running already. What are you doing to crawl your machine and are you current with the NeoOffice patches?

I know my Bose QuietComfort 3 headphones can't drown out a train horn. Might be softened a bit, but not gone on any level. Irresponsible behavior is akin to survival of the fittest. Is what happened tragic, absolutely. Could a little common sense have prevented it, absolutely.

You know, for a couple of the last scenarios, the left screen appeared to be typing far more slowly than the right.

@Adhominem: Seriously, quite whining about something you don't actually care about. But you should care, know why? Because when you as a consumer allow a company to repurpose its point of sale terms of a product purchase (license) after you've purchased it, it's unlawful. Nor should it be just plain right.

@AD: Yeah, it's there now. Just took a couple days.
