I’ve always dug comic book Carol. She is a bad ass and she use to hang with the X-Men a lot. Movie Captain Marvel doesn’t do it for me as much but I’m hoping she fleshes out more in her next movie.

I miss weekly recaps. Pre-air reviews serve a purpose, but you can’t ever get a good conversation going in the comments. With the weekly recaps, everyone was in the same place, had watched the same things, and you could mix it up a bit. Instead we’ve got a review that will get maybe a dozen comments. It’s sad. 

I remember when AVC used to do regular coverage of shows like this, instead of a single pre-air review.

I think the issue was more, if they cast a white man again it might be seen as somehow admitting it was a mistake to cast a woman as the Doctor- at least you can be pretty sure a lot of horrible people would have been smug about it.

Also LOL at the idea that RTD returning to Doctor Who will be anything other than a ratings juggernaut for the first season at least.
