No pictures to let us see if her hair is as wacky as her mom’s? (Which is often used as an example of some kind of archetypal ultra-Karen) I don’t necessarily want that search in my history.

Tim Blake Nelson said in an interview on this very site (though when it was a better one) that he’d be up for playing full-on big-headed Leader, and nothing has outright said he’s not just hiding and planning, so I like to hold out hope.

God, people who talk like that are just the absolute lowest living fucking garbage. I wish COVID could have been targeted at everyone who thinks like them.

Gross.

Mythbusters debuted in the era of “classic” Discovery before Zaslav became CEO.

Yes, they appeared in Captain Marvel and at the ends of Wandavision and Far From Home.

To the 2 other responders: sorry, but since I’ve never once been ungreyed when daring to comment on other kinja sites, you get peremptorily dismissed. Also, you’re really not interpreting my stance here correctly; I’m just looking to shit-talk the “ooh, the weak CGI hurts me” crowd, and this presented a nice

Eh, shitty demanding customers never help, and I’ve been itching to shit-talk fussypants FX whiners since the “Shrek” cracks of 20 years ago.

It’s the fans like you bitching about “bad CGI” that gets us overworked FX artists being treated like shit, actually.

And the previous poster was just talking about a way for the directors to sneak a copy into the piracy sphere (as he was talking about them having access to the material, and therefore possibly the capacity to retain unauthorized copies), and you replied to them as though they were talking about them trying to release

I don’t think “commercial release” is what he’s talking about; I think he means some way of stealth-releasing a bootleg just so people can see the reasons given for killing it were bullshit, and then proceeding to deny all involvement, not trying to make any money off of it.

Could be watchable. I’ve surprised myself at some of the things I’ve given a chance just for being the rare network single-cam these days.

People are crazy-fussy now. Just see what would happen at the slightest visible imperfection.

Dismissed garbage person: no, he’s evil because of everything else listed over the past several days, and his effect on a whole swath of shows properties and people’s careers (literally thousands of layoffs, and not all some notion you might have about spoiled stars), not one isolated film, about which it is his

Because then you’d have to depend on a tall fitness model’s ability to act, and they wanted Maslany, who’s a proven capable actor, who clearly was able to get across the kind of personality they were going for. You know, the part that matters.

I wonder if incessant fan whining (and most of it has been best described as that, make no mistake) over “bad CGI” contributes to anything to do with the whole thing over overworked FX artists.

That still leaves Zaslav as evil, and deserving of the worst, most wasting type of cancer you might name.

Personally, I’d want a guarantee that Zaslav will get his junk gnawed off by a wild animal, then bleed to death in the wilderness.

Zaslav needs to waste away slowly from dick cancer.

I only hear the name sung like the intro whenever I see it in print, so I certainly can’t blame you.
