@readingmachine: yay, I love your Ferdinand icon!! that was my favorite when I was little, I still have a copy I break out every once in a while. The illustrations are the best!

Now playing

SO I was on another saturday night social about a month and a half ago talking about this guy I met and become completely smitten with on OK Cupid.

@Veruka_Assault: She had reportedly the "Smallest waist in Hollywood". In reality, she was an anorexic and the costume designer Edith Head had to disguise her neck (which due to the disease looked 20 years older than the rest of her) by putting her in exclusively turtlenecks the WHOLE MOVIE. Seriously, go back and

Ok here it is!

Hey, does anyone want the most amazing recipe for Apricot Squares, made famous by my better-than-real Grandma Joe Stinchcomb, the awesomest octogenarian I know. I just made some and they are heaven!!

Does anyone else think Taylor Swift looks just like Clarice from the old Rudolph Special?

Apparently, back in the 1960's, my Grandmother took my Mom and Uncle shopping in downtown Cleveland, and as they stepped off the bus, a man walked up to them and flashed them.

@RousseMacabre, from Ravenclaw: Yeah, it's totally cute. I want to hate it but I just can't. And she and Ice-T seem to really dig each other, too.

@patti cake: it really should be served in a Dooney & Bourke, cheaper and she repped them back in the day before they dropped her after the troubles....

I really like them, and I am happy for them!

@michelleb3008: I think it's a good sign, too. And I appreciate the advice! I am the oldest myself, and it's hard to stop myself with my younger sister! Thanks for your help!

@mosaiclobster: That story is kindof hilarious! Exactly, exactly! It's strangely old-fashioned in a way, words first, before meeting. it's like something out of a Judy Garland movie (well, if I remember correctly, like 3 Judy Garland movies....)

@michelleb3008: oh jeeze, I know! We've spoken alot on the phone which has helped alleviate some of that feeling, but the uncertainty of what will happen is completely killer. I'm also telling my friends and family all I can about him and we'll be meeting in a very public place just in case. eek.

@REALTALK: Thanks! I hope so too! We have spoken a lot on the phone, so I think that has helped prep for the face-to-face. I guess I will never know for sure until I do it!
