@mosaiclobster: That story is kindof hilarious! Exactly, exactly! It's strangely old-fashioned in a way, words first, before meeting. it's like something out of a Judy Garland movie (well, if I remember correctly, like 3 Judy Garland movies....)

@michelleb3008: oh jeeze, I know! We've spoken alot on the phone which has helped alleviate some of that feeling, but the uncertainty of what will happen is completely killer. I'm also telling my friends and family all I can about him and we'll be meeting in a very public place just in case. eek.

@Elena Kaminsky: I did it the afternoon before the party, it is completely cardboard and masking tape, and the nose cone is a dixie cup. Then I spray painted the whole thing silver and painted on the details. All in all, about 3 hours, I think.
