I really like Joe Kennedy, but I just can't see the Democratic base getting on board with a Kennedy right now.

Or, if the fact that Lindsay Graham is now communicating his thoughts on the administration solely through hysterical bouts of nihilistic giggling . . . perhaps literally.

So is Nixon.

Yeah, arguably Britain has better written satire, and that makes sense because your newspapers are more partisan (as opposed to ours).

Yeah, something like 60% of your legislature is under active criminal charges? Though then again, even Dilma Rousseff didn't dismiss Adams when he was investigating Petrobras, and she even has a good chance to do it.

Sorry, didn't know that. But seriously, the original comment was clearly a joke.

To the Time Booth, Reggie!

As a queer (mixed race) millennial . . . dude, chill.

To clarify, I wasn't suggesting that McCain has any backbone whatsoever . . . I was sardonically mocking the rest of the GOP for being, somehow, inexplicably, even worse.

It's legitimate concern insofar that, after deciding that you want to offer universal healthcare because you're not a monster, it ought to be one of the things that you think about. If you prioritize it above universal coverage . . . yeah, there's no excuse for that.

Nah, I don't think you said anything mean. I just overthink this stuff for a living :). Well, I'm a student, but in theory it would be nice to make a living :P

I mean, unless you're from Syria, things are probably better than here at the very least.

Don't you think it's a little cruel to force Syrian refugees to assume Trump's debts?

You certainly raise legitimate points, though I respectfully disagree with your outlook on normalization. But to clarify one thing; there is a very big difference between legitimizing a political action and normalizing one. I absolutely do not challenge the legitimacy of Trump's presidency, because I have a strong

McCain is finally calling for a special prosecutor now, at the very least. I mean, he's still a lukeworm bag of partisan mash, but he could have conceivably been marginally more sycophantic this time (though you'd need an electron microscope to measure it). Still, by my calculations, that makes him the least

He did fire the special prosecutor who was appointed to investigate Watergate. Arguably that's the closest analogue to Comey, seeing as there was no special prosecutor appointed over Russia. Though refusing to appoint a special prosecutor in the first place is arguably way past Nixon territory.
