But . . . but but but . . . lip quivers . . . emails!

That's what hell is for.

Nah, but there were private convos obtained by Buzzfeed where they decided to leak that the ok sign was a white nationalist symbol in order to make mainstream publications look stupid. And naturally everyone walked right into the trap.

Baby, you can teach me all night long.

I don't know, he seems to want to wipe his ass with separation of church and state.

I started out on that position, but since we've seen Trump's presidency thus far, I actually think the liberal movement will be better off under him. I mean, he's literally gotten nothing he threatened. With a Republican Congress, Pence is probably going to get a lot of nasty things through.

'And Alexander wept, for he saw that there were no more BENGHAZI!s to scream inarticulately on cable news. Oh, and something about world conquering'.

I know, right? I can even buy why Hollywood does that for original features and less-well-known stuff, but seriously, it's not as if a major property like Star Wars isn't going to rake in cash either way.

. . . well, I liked Frankie

I thought we also didn't like the Yahoo season? I can't keep track anymore, y'all.

Yeah, I think his downfall is different in the tv show than it is in the prequel movies. I'll admit that I prefer the tv show. In the prequels, there's some sketchiness there too. Like, he's literally willing to kill children to save his wife, but not willing to actually talk to his wife about the problem.

I'm at the University of Maryland, and some weekends my friends and I drive up to Philadelphia for cheesesteaks.

Or anything Dan Harmon has been involved with except for the last season of Community?

Oh, I think he's a fantastic character. The one thing I really admire about JK Rowling is her ability to portray the mundane everyday evils of shitty people just being shitty people. I mean, Umbridge is one of my favorite characters in all of children's literature, just because we all know that person.

I mean, I sympathize with Anakin (The Clone Wars) version, but that's because I understand why he turned evil. Which isn't to say that I agree with it, but I can empathize because it springs from normal human faults (frustration and perceived impotence). Snape has a super shitty reason for turning evil and then

Wait. We at the A.V. Club don't take things seriously?

He's not a heroic martyr. Like, he's literally a terrible human being. The fact that he has never grown up beyond high school and feels vindictive over being 'friendzoned' does not make him a good person.

Well, no. The one before that was clearly started by antifa. Haven't I just posted several comments criticizing them?

In fairness, during A New Hope, the rebels have a solitary blockade runner that is securely captured in the bay of a Star Destroyer. The urgency of trying to prevent the plans from being moved justifies why Vader would lead the assault on the flagship personally.

Personally, I think that he shouldn't have been included in the advertising at all, and then only showed up at the very end of the film. Can you imagine how much people would lose their shit if they didn't realize he was going to show up?
