Smallville really stuck to its "not a Superman show" guns. Gotham is just bizarre because it's everything about Batman except Batman, and at this point it just feels like a clever distraction from the fact that if it were a Batman show it would be a really bad one.

That's much worse than it just coming from his youth spent as a street tough with the Yancy St Gang beating up old ladies.

Can you imagine if a bunch of sexist men wrote a story where the hero's power is tied to their hair, such that becoming a bald ugo would render them powerless?

Old fashioned but ironically not sexist. Fashions are weird.

If you look at just the 21st century, they probably haven't created very many new white men. I can't really think of any worth note Marvel created, and DC hasn't created many new characters at all this century.

"The ability to manipulate hair."

If he had known that Jeff Sessions understood the law well enough to cover his own ass first, he would have hired somebody else.

She's now officially an "unnamed source in the administration."

I don't agree with John McCain on much, and it never seemed like I would like him much personally if I got the chance, but he always seemed honest at least. I mean he's still full of shit, but he at least seems like all of it is just genuine foolishness.

"What do you call a drive through liqueur store?"

They sent him to a digital farm upstate, just like those dozens and dozens of solo Wu-Tang hits.

Yeah, but for some reason they pronounce it zed-a.
