The Emma/Dana dynamic was so good. The fit with Charlotte just hasn't been the same.

Totally agree. That and the fact that Roman seems to take a nap for 20 minutes in every match makes his ring work just so, so dull.

This review was a nice change of pace. You have a terrific way of articulating the feuds and motivations that's fun and interesting to read, Alisdair.

Just remember Jimmy has the paint on the right side of his face, and both Jimmy and right have five letters. It's the same principle as when you're a kid and setting the dinner table.

Jesus Christ, what the fuck was that? And it felt like it went on FOREVER too.

Kyle, you asked, so let me chime in and say I'm a big fan of Naomi's entrance and new music. Thought it was great and visually stunning.

This guy gets it. Breezango 4ever!

Oh God, those were great. Prince Nakamaki (for Prince Iaukea) and Quasijuice Guerrera were two other gems.

I'd also like to add my love for the Jeri-KO interview. It's been refreshing to see Kevin Owens be a little lighter and not such a self-serious scold.

I covered Raw weekly for three years from 2000-03, and nothing will dispirit you about the product (no matter how good it is) more than having to do thoughtful analysis of it that frequently points out the gaps in logic and storytelling. Enjoyment of wrestling is sometimes mutually exclusive with thinking about in the

I can still picture HHH's face in my mind when Foley takes off his Mankind mask and reveals Cactus Jack. What an awesome moment.

This is not an insane thing to say if you've never watched NXT.

If you want to think he's a heel, no one is stopping you. I think he's an amazing heel because HE believes he's a virtuous babyface, when his character is really just an arrogant prick. I don't care about WWE's motivation because if you take creative intent out of the equation and just judge this character in a

I too think Randy Orton sucks, but "barely passable in the ring" is an absurd comment on its face.

So much better than last week! Thank God!

Here's my biggest pet peeve with the draft. It was written in such an uninspiring manner. The draft is a storytelling contrivance that allows lots of little moments of subtlety and motivation. For instance:

Mostly agree, but I'm optimistic only because they've felt more heelish lately. That face paint is more menacing, less kid-friendly day-glo, and a bit more muddled. Their characters have also been less of their traditional grinning doofus selves, which is welcome.

When it comes to making apocalyptic predictions based on an incredibly complex and varied data set such as the factors that influence our climate? Yes, I believe that's arrogant. Science is built on uncertainty, inquiry and testing. And when the best minds in the world continually learn mores dip more, it makes old

Of course. Given the arrogant certainty of the scientific community on this, and remembering that the world's top scientists asserted with authority that we would freeze to death and/or run out of food in the 1970s, I'm skeptical of their projection of impacts.

Seriously? Just remember this: The earth is more than four billion years old, and temperature data has been officially kept for about 150 years. To think 20-30 more years are going to end us as a species when you consider the scope of earth's experience is absurd.
