This show is a disaster. I don't know what happens in the writers room, but these seasons of AHS always start off amazing, with lots of promise, and then its like someone who has no idea about dramatic arc starts writing the rest of the season. The show feels completely random - that is the real horror story.

Saying Lady Gaga's name out loud is what killed Charlie.

And that song at the end. Was someone's IPOD on Shuffle? Why not just play, Kool and the Gang's "Ladies Night" while Charlie was dying. Just as appropriate.

I find myself gripped by Homeland, and the superlative acting of Saul and Carrie But something about this episode (and maybe this is what you mean about Gordon's politics and the characterization of Tasneem) makes me feel uncomfortable too. It's the lack of nuance, it's the painting in black and white of the big bad

Would Lockhart really give away the file for Fara, who was a Muslim asset who had been recruited? I loved Fara, but why would she be the one, because she was a woman, or because of the brutal way she was going to be killled?

His name is Mark Moses. He also played Blanche's husband's illegitimate son on "The Golden Girls". Sorry, wrong crowd.

I agree. I'm gay, and I'm LIVING for her. It's wonderful in hollywood to see a woman of a certain age not have a ton of a face work done to beautiful. So expressive.

Especially with the military man keeping watch outside the door. He would have noticed that she just left before he killed himself.

So the whole subplot about the human resources guy was because he was a bully who wanted to have fun?

Look up, Amy Schumer - "The Foodroom". She's nails the tone of this show.

RIGHT ON. I loved this review. I've been faithful to The Newsroom, mostly because I like the actors, but this show is so up its own ass. It's unfortunate, because the potential is there, but the Sorkin condescension just won't let up.

By the way: what the hell was the point in having Patti LaBelle play Dora? Because she's sassy and would pull in an audience? How can you have Jessica Lange singing songs every week (some of them twice) and not even have Patti humming while she does the dishes, or a scene where she is singing in church. Sometimes I

Yes, if anyone in Hollywood is reading, I would love to see Eve and Pettie as roommates/detectives. If America is watching "The Mysteries of Laura" (which it is and which, by the way, is so bad it makes Tyler Perry's writing look like Shakespeare - truly, I"ve never seen anything like it. I love me some Debra

I would only want Jessica to stay if she would play against type. I agree with the comments, we keep getting the same character from her in different forms, the same narcissism, heartbreak and tears - which is the fault of the writers because I'm sure she can play anything. What about Faye and Jessica as sisters?

I loved the birthday scene where Jessica Lange was channelling some serious Faye Dunaway, "No Wire Hangers" Mommie Dearest shit. (By the way, if Jessica does leave after this season, what is Faye up to. She might be PERFECT for this.)

What it says about me is that I care about art and aesthetics and what gets put into our culture.  I'll acknowledge, sometimes it takes a little time for a show to find its "voice" and I will still give both shows a chance - but I don't think it helps anyone to apologize for something that is bad quality.  Imagine

No, they didn't.  If they had, that would be less painful that what I'm seeing on my screen.  I wish you all would stop acting like this is personal - I actually really like Michael J. Fox a lot as a performer and I want him to succeed.  You guys are so defensive - are you really arguing that this show is GOOD, and

I feel you are being a dick.  Please don't tell me how many shows I've seen or how to express myself.  I disagree with you.  I don't think the shows are pleasantly mediocre - I feel that they are grindingly mediocre bordering on macabre.  The scene on Sean Saves the World where his boss buys Sean's daughter a bra and

This show and Sean Saves The World are two of the most unfunny shows I've ever seen.  They are actually painful to watch.  I really don't know what is going on at NBC with its writers, but something is seriously wrong.  These sitcoms wouldn't have been funny in the 70's or the 60's - it feels like the 50's - I feel

I love this idea, interracial bisexuality - AWESOME.
