Responsibility and honor are passé.

The kid fucked up.

Jesus. He’s not dead...

odd time and story to “take a stand”

Well written, Albert. I like Craggs too. It’s definitely worth reiterating that there are human consequences to many of the decisions we make / actions we take in the course of a day.

Children. All of yall are children. When boss says you fucked up, then fix the fuck up and move on like a grownup.

“Years later, David Geithner’s children would look back on the day that ruined their family forever and remark that it wasn’t a total loss - ‘a bunch of awful people realized the value of friendship, at least.’ ”

I’m sure he’s a great dude that you all loved like a brother. I’m also sure he was a part of a garbage gossip piece that pandered to a person trying to blackmail a man with a family.

You guys all really are that tone-deaf. How does the Koolaid taste at Gawker HQ? He approved a post that ruined a man’s life, then objected to taking it down, then quit not becuause he made a mistake and allowed the post to be published, but because he was forced to take it down. Never an apology to the subject of the

I’m sure he’ll have plenty of editorial freedom working at Whole Foods.

Except he didn’t “get” anything. He resigned. That’s the “taking my ball and going home” response of an immature “professional.”

I’m sure there were a lot of great guys that were also racists in the 1950s who would be looked upon fondly by their friends, but this is 2015 and attacking and publicly shaming homosexuals has to stop and should never be acceptable practice by a private individual much less a media site.

Craggs sounds like a nice guy. Your friend may have helped your life but he also ruined someone else’s. His resignation is not noble it just.... is.

If the whole gawker media circle didn’t act so pretentious and sanctimonious all the time, people would likely forgive your mistakes but you live in a glass mansion. When all you do is criticize others because they don’t fit your moral standards of how someone should act, then you’re going to get shit on. Your boy

Will there be a Gawker flag for those that died for this flawed and immoral cause? Sort of like the Confederate flag for talentless hacks unable to get hired elsewere?

I’m sure he’s a good guy. He fucked up really bad and won’t just say “hey - sorry”.

Gawker writers and editors chose the flattest of hills to die upon.

Can the Gawker writers please get back to work? Reddit stories aren’t going to re-post themselves on your site.

Sad for you, totally not sad for your friend who let himself get sucked up into a thing and then martyred himself on it.

It all sucks...the whole thing. But you get the feeling the parties involved wouldn't change anything they did, so it also seems inevitable.
