I just got back from seeing the re-release of Everything Everywhere at one of my local theaters. I paid...$7 and could sit anywhere I wanted. I probably won’t go to an AMC any time soon, especially with this scheme going on.

I find the shift to being a straight-up action game really unappealing, combined with yet another video game scowly-faced guy protagonist just makes me totally unlikely to pick this up, ever.

I kinda just want a turned based JRPG that looks really pretty. 

The action game thing is a shame, because it’s pretty much a deal breaker for me. I’m just not that interested in action games, especially not from Final Fantasy--I want an RPG. That said, I hope a lot of other people are able to enjoy it. It’s not like I can’t just replay the old ones, after all.

I can’t forgive people going to Tahoe for not being prepared when everyone knew the storm was coming. I can forgive the people around the lower elevations for being unprepared because it never snows in the Oakland hills or some of these other lower areas. It’s been crazy around here.
