Taking their smartphones out of play early on, for instance—due to damage or theft or whatever—would put the modern versions of Neal and Del in a position pretty close to where they were in 1987.

I want a live action Castlevania movie. With the right actors and story, that could be amazing. There’s already an awesome soundtrack ready to go.
