Feel free to contact me when you’ve done anything impressive.

Zelda is doing that to me but in the real world. Earlier today I looked out the window at a large fir tree and instantly, almost reflexively, I imagined myself hitting it a couple times with an axe to turn it into a bundle of firewood. It was a very quick and fleeting thought, but the impulse was real.

Yeah, it’s hilarious. Also, the song he plays is great. Sat there for a good 10 minutes just listening to it. Actually, I notice I do that with a lot of the music in this game. Automata’s soundtrack is S-Tier.

Now playing

As usual, Elite Dangerous! (Currently beta testing the 2.3 patch, and they just enabled the multi-crew functionality!) But also, Hellion...because it’s fucking awesome!

Thanks! Since starting FFXIV, I’ve found that I’m spending less on new games unless they’re something I’m really into (things like Elder Scrolls and Dragon Age will always get a pass), so that helps. But the problem is, when I do have free time, I’m very good at telling myself there’s something else I should be

Per usual, doing a lot of catch up! Last week I posted about finally getting to play Metal Gear Solid 5, so of course I’m still going to be chipping away at that, but if the wife wants the TV or we go to her parents, I was lucky enough to get the “prequel” several months ago, but now very interested in how it turns

I’ve finally reached the point where I realised I have too many games I’ve not played. So what time isn’t devoted to FFXIV is for going through the backlog. Currently working on Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Dragon Age: Inquisition, and Alien: Isolation. With some Animal Crossing: New Leaf on the side, because of

NieR Automata. Fun gameplay and an interesting world/story peppered with a healthy does of WTF YOKO TARO!!?. It’s pretty much everything I wanted in a game.

Even a small step forward is considered progress, so good for them.

Yakuza 0 and Nioh this weekend. I was just thinking how rough March 3rd will be with Horizon and Zelda both being out that week.

NIOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and possibly the witcher 3, I really wanted to hate the witcher 3 after hating the first 2 but god damn that game is good...... Combats still a tad shiet though.

Thankfully I’ve been off this week and put Stardew on hold while I get into Nioh. So far, so good. Easy to pick up, hard to put down and just the right amount of challenge at the moment. On a side note I’ve also got Resi 7 to try in VR but it’s a day time game as I expect to be making lots of loud noises and upsetting

Mainlining is indeed the way to play DAI. The side quests are a waste of time, except for the loyalty missions for your companions. The only other sidequesty thing worth considering is just collecting crafting materials for end game gear to hunt dragons with. But only do that if you’re enjoying the combat. The fights

Have fun with the IKEA DLC.

I’m going to continue with Final Fantasy X (about 6 hours in, really digging it), and maybe dip into Dragon Age Inquisition for the first time. I’ve heard that I’m not supposed to spend any time in the opening area that I don’t have to, which makes me think I should just mainline the main quest for those sweet, sweet,

Nioh. Feel like I can probably just pencil that in for the next month or two.
