@Digitus: Making a Halo killer after the IP gets handed to 343 isn't gonna be hard. Frankly I just don't have confidence that 343 Industries will be able to deliver on the same level as Bungie.

@Paul Usoro: Can I get a 'Kotick's a douche' in the house?

And nothing of value was lost...

@sollipse: I take it you are an advocate of the Gears of War school of warfare? :D

What a coincidence, I just got my copy today.

Meh. Unless these files are somehow going to give us the release date for HL3, I'm not interested.

@SurprisedFace: LOL I almost thought you were serious there for a second.

Bungie actually talked about this in one of their weekly updates. They found it hilarious that people thought Cameron copied Halo, as they freely admit to being inspired by the original Alien.

Damn you Kotaku, you have foiled my attempt to post [facepalm.jpg] yet again!

Who says kids are apathetic these days...

@Baconrath II: I'd love to see the Heavy Gear franchise make a comeback, they're my favorite style of mech.

@lightmartyr: If you mean the demo, then that's because it got closed on the 25th. If you mean the full version, perhaps they aren't putting the servers online until the release date.

@Shin-san: Thanks for the clarification, but that does kinda rule out alot of the Avatar games I'd like to see.

IMO, fast and slow zombies elicit different emotional responses. With fast/agile zombies a la L4D, because they're constantly coming at you from different direction, your emotional response is pretty much a series of quick scares as you react to each individual threat. You don't really have time to appreciate the

@Katoejoe: The only problem I have with the WWZ model of zombie is its ability to (spoiler alert?) walk across the ocean floor. Bobbing along helplessly until the current washes them ashore? Yes. Walking upright along the sea bottom for years on end at crushing depths without getting nibbled to pieces or

@madammina: When I need to study, I eat nothing but cold baked beans. Doesn't help the brain, but it does help instill a mindless terror of not being able to get a job better than minimum wage. Terror is a good motivator.

@Zinger314: Sorry bro, this got done a few weeks back. GJFIYT.

This is only kinda relevant, but the 'no Avatar violence' rule is weak. A game like Worms but with avatars would be hella sweet.
