Somewhere there is a bank recording from yesterday from her. My wife is helping her get her bank accounts organized. She had to get an ID from another room and had the walking farts the entire way. I swear she can set off a car alarm from her 3rd floor apartment.

also with one spare tire on and a temp tag thats 2 years past its prime.

Eh, I’m still going with Honda. Great to own AND not boring.

They went to their backyard in 2020 and had to quarantine for two weeks after returning to their house.

The Jalopnik style guide seems to currently be: find something interesting and then find a way to absolutely SHIT on it.

“We’ve been trying to reach you about your car’s extended warranty.”

Mrs. Waite runs the complaint department. If you have complaints go to Helen Waite.

That should be pretty damn cool.

Apples would give an off-flavor to the beer. Where do you think it comes from?

Oh for fuck’s sake. The CVT is fine. I have an outback with a CVT and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It replaced a VW sportwagon with a manual transmission and honestly, it’s fine. No normal person and 90% of “enthusiasts” do not care about the CVT. It works, it shifts, it gets you where you need to be. It

Its a fucking car. Stop putting it up on a pedestal. There’s nothing bastardized about it.

Porsche builds CUVs, 4-door sedans, and EVs now. The 911 is bigger, turbocharged, primarily offered with automatic transmissions, and comes in AWD...there’s nothing “pure” about Porsche. And they’re making bank because of it.

How to ruin a perfectly fine 911. This will drive worse for no real benefit, since nobody with thrash that thing offroad with that slightly increased right height. Modded 911 Safaris are cool, this is just fluff.

That’s not how it works. Usually it gradually raises the volume as you get to highway speeds. I’m sure some idiot will chime in with one shitbox that sold 50 units that does it at stop and go. But generally that’s not how those systems work.

“I’ll stand by the towing use case for shiftable automatics.”

I’ve done the snow tire thingy for a few years now. Bought highly rated tires and their own wheels. I’m extremely underwhelmed in their utility.

80s American cars were utter, utter shit.

That's not how it works.  5G activates the trackers in the Pfizer shot.

(Makes note to leave trash on the beach next time, since Gizmodo doesn’t approve of collecting trash).

So how long do you think before you take it to Moab?

Don’t lay the blame directly on the school districts. The problem is the greedy jerks that own all these subcontracting companies. In my area, the districts that own their own bus fleets haven’t suffered any significant problems. The subcontractors have been having a hell of a time with hiring drivers and mechanics.
