There are some rural ISPs that are offering up to 500Mbps plans, so it’s becoming more feasible.  The kicker with places like Barbados trying to lure WFH people is the internet speeds.

Every 4 years politicians wander the country promising billions and billions of money for rural high speed internet. Surely that will be fixed soon right?

Build that dam! Build that dam!

See that’s funny, because while I admire the car in Bradley’s post.. this one is a big bleh to me. Yes, I recognize the tons of hard work and talent that must have gone into this car (not to mention money)... but damn it looks like hot garbage to me.

Chopped cars are stupid and ruin the car by destroying visibility and messing up the lines the designer intended. Fight me.

I like how some act like their tax dollars just disappear when the government gets its hands on it.  Hint:  the government spends “your” money on paying people to do stuff, which means they have money to spend (possibly on stuff you make) which keeps the economy moving.

I dunno if I would ever use the word “truck” to describe the H1.....it can barely fit a spare tire in the “bed”

100% agree. I come to this site to READ content. I go to Youtube to watch content.

Keep in mind that dude wants something easy to wrench on, and he plans on messing with it for about a year before he gives his daughter his DD. A “dicey” G8 (this is a G8, not a GTO, but a GTO would work, too) or Chevy SS? Easy to work on, easy to find parts, and it’ll be fun as Hell to drive.

Soon to be read in an Erin Marquis tweet, "Why is there a Willys pickup parked outside my apartment?"

30-40 pedestrians per mile

Ford : We made a modern 2000 Ranger, starting at $21,500 !!

My wife hates when I play the ‘Subaru’ game in the parking lot of Costco or work or on I-5. “Subaru..Subaru..Subaru..Subaru..not Subaru..Subaru..Subaru ..””Shut UP!”..Subaru..Subaru..Subaru..”

“The only car I didn’t buy had this feature. Once that feature was no longer offered, I continued to not buy that car.”

What good bits?

You can... fight the ticket? I know I’d much rather receive a fine in the mail and schedule a court appearance on my own terms than be worried about getting pulled out of my car by a cop who didn’t like my haircut or the spelling of my name and then having to spend the weekend in jail for “resisting arrest” while

Two, so far.
