i make roadtrips and sometimes i go 1-2 states without filling up..

also, when i take road trips through many states i usually skip every other state from fueling, so those states are not getting my gas money anyway. 

Ohio already is asking for mileage come license plate renewal time. I can’t believe other states don’t have that too.

I have been saying this for ages. Cars are tools, and very few are investments. Also, with the cheap credit we had for the last decade it made no sense to pay cash or some short term loans. Same with capital investments in businesses, they depreciate as soon as they come in, and i don’t see anyone complaining about…

In Ohio you self report the mileage of the car come registration renewal time. You could pay it then.
