never had to replace a gauge and never had to replace a screen in any of my cars. I even went aftermarket for head unit for my wrx. Alpine ILX-F309, It works a lot better than the oem touch screen with buttons.

I think the automotive press calls the subaru CVTs as some of the best CVTs out there. I know that is not saying much about cvts.
