for my 2017 wrx premium the dealer came with MSRP for the base model. that was a $3000 discount right off the bat. they do deal a lot, and in my area are 5 subaru dealerships, 3 of them part of the same dealer network.

i get around 30mpg in my wrx(boosted engine), driving normally like any sane person would during rush hour traffic and sometimes beating on it. it gets into boost quite a lot but not for very long. I am sure if i drove it pedal to the metal mileage would be in the single digits, but so would any na engine.

the service parts are made throughout the program and at the end of the program then warehoused. It is up to the OEM to order as many as they think they need to have on hand. Some of the assembly lines are very specific to the program taking up a lot of factory floor space so they get disassembled as soon as possible…
