I wouldn’t use the word victim here - these people bear responsibility for their actions - but people can commit crimes, and still be products of their economic and social conditions. Here’s a cool trick: you can be angry at and empathize with a person or group of people at the exact same time.

Well then how is one supposed to achieve erection if they can’t fantasize about *defending their family*?

I would probably just not take my family to these types of events.

no kidding.  I appreciate that we can’t help but apply more scrutiny to new tech, but ICE fires are so common we even have the slang term “carbecue” that’s used prolifically by news outlets (at least on the east coast) to tell commuters what’s causing the backup.

Now playing

As others have pointed out by others, there have been new ICE cars with fire issues and associated recalls. Shoot, Ford has a recall on Mavericks, Corsairs and Escapes where 39 burned down in recent years. Doesn’t make the news like 1 Lightning fire.

Last time I went to the Peterson, There was a Lamborghini Sian, a Koenigsegg Agera, and a Ferrari FXXK just sittin there, but “ooooh Cybertruck”? man we fell off as a society lol.

History, even uncomfortable history, needs to be preserved.

The Enola Gay is no less significant as a preserved B-29, it’s simply the most well-known example. The Air Force Museum has Bockscar, which dropped the second bomb, and considering the Air Force exists explicitly for the purpose of making war I’d say its inclusion is definitely appropriate.

History, even uncomfortable history, needs to be preserved. Displaying a nazi Me-163 Komet in Uvdar-Hazy isn’t idolizing the nazis. Nor is having the Enola-Gay on display idolizing the atomic bomb. Both are just critical inflection points in aviation history.

I have issues, No Peterson, No GM Heritage Collection, No Corvette Museum, No Gilmore Museum, No Bills Bike Barn, Also No Henry Ford.

The wording for the various state laws appear to simply refer to “mirror” or “mirrors”; some regulations specify that they must “reflect” a view of the road behind the vehicle to the driver, which could be argued to exclude digital rearview mirrors. Many states require two, one mounted on the left side of the vehicle,

All hail the profit margin. If you can raise prices and people keep paying it, you win at capitalism.

There, now it’s an actual coupe

Because it may create an oversupply. Even now they have not sold all their allocation at 3000 units. Most manufacturers probably want to play it safe especially in this economic climate.

And look how THAT turned out.

Possibly a fleet customer that owns a local business and buys a lot of trucks & vans.

They will until the last boomer / early gen-xer dies off.

I can see how this is going to work. “Here is my notarized order with the dealer stating that I’m buying the car at MSRP”. (Also has a separate order with the dealer parts department for floor mats to be purchased for the special price of $79,000. ) Or perhaps agrees to buy the Demon at MSRP but in a separate

Yup - this is one of those cars where you might actually like it more if you weren’t a diehard fan.

I suspect #roadhead personally...
