I can’t say I hate them. In some countries they do it right. The cameras are clearly marked along with the enforcement zone so the people who blow through them are completely flouting the law and suffer accordingly instead of having speed traps or the cops roaming around looking to collect money.

Gonna agree with the sentiment here that the guy is playing with fire. The state will get fed up with the flagrant disregard for the cameras at some point and either seek a technical solution like embedding a chip in the plate that will broadcast the plate number ir capture cell phone numbers or whatever or go full

I guess sporty Camrys have worked out pretty good. I see a lot of them on the road and not on this slide show. It’s too damn bad the US has turned trucks and utility vehicles of all sorts and there isn’t a bigger market for sports sedans in comfigurations in a wider array if prices and configurations (like the S650

Skipping PHEVS doesn’t seem like too bad a plan. They are overly complex, expensive and the most likely to achieve supercar status by self immolating. Hybrids and PHEVs make sense mostly in places where electricity is scarce on a daily basis or in limited supply or off grid or whatever. I’ve never really seen Acura as

As a pedestrain and cycler (won’t say cyclists since I’m not about that lifestyle). I do agree I see people doing dumb stuff. Never ceases to amaze me when I watch people cross about 50 or 60 feet before a crosswalk or at thr crosswalk and won't wait for the signal. I remeber one year at my former employer it was like

Well if that was it I can see it appealing to the same sort or person that thinks living in a gated community is nessecary for survival in the Mad Max style wasteland that is modern 'murica.

They are practical like stowing an I95-EDC in the trunk. Might not use it too often but it’s there when you need it. Not a bad deal in a world where people can no longer really afford a secondary vehicle (especially in states like VA where you never own and rent vehicles from the state since PPT makes owning more

While I detest the brodozerication of trucks. A threerowdozer makes more sense than those insipid cuvs that pretend to be coupes. Not only do they fail as a proper sedan bit fly in the face of the all-mighty station wagon, especially sport station wagon which the world desperately needs more of.

lol, I need to toss this up on a group that was having a cow over somebody asking 80k for a 1995 Cobra R.

I think Ford will kill the Coyote V8 when ICE Mustang production ends. They are introducing a 6.8 version of the 7.3 which will probably become the mainstream V8 engine.

Can’t see that happening with ever increasingly stringent safety legislation even with HSS and aluminum. CF tubs are a non-starter since the cost is still high. Besides V8s are soon going to be exclusively the domain of trucks, cuvs and suvs where fuel effciency standards are practically non-existant and going full

Yes, any increase in effciency will net an economy gain and increasing compression is one of them. There are a lot of tricks GM can use and the 4.8/5.3 used a neat one with its undersquare design which reduces surface area in the combustion chamber. The trick of course is developing a cylinderhead that doesn’t impede

Yeah, my buddy was telling me that yesterday. A hybrid LT6 for the ZR1. Although I would think that would be the LT7 car sans hybrid setup and as you mention the Zora would be a hybrid LT7.

Well if anybody took Jordan Belfort’s advice - don’t jump in too early and don’t leave too late - made out like a bandit.

Old people generally appear insane for two reasons. They reach a point where they just don’t care and they are mired in their in a value system that was fine when they were relevant.

Damn, talk about in league with the devil. I never really paid attention to Clarkson after TG but the thought of either News Corp or Clarkson seeking each other out just lowered him another notch in my eyes.

Man, this comment wins the "hot-take of the day" award.

Doesn’t the E-ray get the LT2? I’d at least want the LT6 in the E-Ray rather than the standard engine made hybrid.

yeah, give me a Z06 over the E-ray but I,was thinking the E-ray is great for the frozen north provided the snow doesn’t get too deep.

Thinkware has a nice cam. I’m getting ready to upgrade to the 4k unit but my favorite features are the ADAS and night cam functions plus they have some add-ons like radar to enhance the motion detection of the camera
