A reasonable concern I suppose but I haven't had a problem and my company has sold them for a few years now without issue.  I don't live in the south west so the jumper pack exploding could be a thing but in South East VA temps into the 90's and interior temperatures approaching 140 degrees in the vehicle are common…

Grab one of those mini jump box thingies. I keep one in my I95 survival kit in the back of the car. Not only does it pull duty for jumping cars but it charges the phone as well. Small enough to fit in a console or glove box to boot.
