That’s the problem... old people...

You mean brand a car better. GM could build a better car with both eyes gouged out and both arms hacked off and both legs twisted into a pretzel.

Four kids and 800k in damage? I’d hit them with a 200k bill apiece and garnish wages until its paid off. Hell 10k a year for the next 20 years would be a real pain in the ass.

Well if your game is street racing and your looking to sucker somebody or catch them off guard otherwise I dont see the point especially on extroverts like US performance cars where the aggressive looks also serve a purpose.

Naw it's a good sweet and savory combo like a nice pineapple pizza!

Or Cool Whip!

Is anybody really surprised by this? I’m no VAG nutswinger but this is from the same company that brings you Bugatti, Lamborghini and Porsche and has been offering technically impressive vehicles like the 918 of course and the XL-1

Well here is hoping the kit car market remains a viable one! Granted it will probably all be LS V8s (sigh...) and Tremec 5 and 6 speeds running on alcohol but I’ll take it.

Breaking real comedic ground here! You’ve a got a future in the knock-knock joke world!

Oh yeah... “best” I suppose if instrumented testing is something to crank your dick over. By that metric the Miata and Toyobaru twins are some of the “worst” performance cars on the market.

Well no harm I think since the car was trash to begin with and it’s not like they took a pristine low mileage example and hacked it up.

A Superformamce GT40 hsd more torsional rigidity than a new Corvette ( although that's really a special case ) and it's almost rivet for rivet a duplicate of the original mark 1 cars.

Well kit car so no foul . However I eagerly await the well heeled enthusiast that will convert a 250 GTO or Lemans winning GT40 into an EV and see how things go down.

Its good to be the 1%!

Carmax is doing that for the same reason anybody would - it gives them bargaining power. It doesn’t matter the ultimate fate of the vehicle or its actual condition ( if the vehicle was repaired properly and the repair is indistinguishable from factory condition it “shouldn’t” effect the value - according to your

Another sign of the new gilded age! Money just sitting idle drives this sort of stuff! Wait till the "investors" get a whiff and start buying Supras as retirement currency...

This statue should hang out with Juliet in Verona with her polished boob!
