Sounds like they need a good double disc unit. The double disc in the Mustang works pretty good and has super light action despite holding back 460 and 526 horsepower and 420 and 429 pound feet respectively in a 3700 to 3800 pound car.

Well if you only have 80k and it has to fit two car seats then I’m going to go out on a limb and say there is a strong chance your not really going to get your “dream car”.

I think Ford did it better with its sorta funky FPC V8 (since it doesn’t have a standard FPC firing order to deal with harmonics and the common intake plenum).

Well the advantage a garage built 5.3 FPC has is that it doesn’t have to go 250,000 miles without a hitch and be fully emissions complaint.
