No - Nevada gave Tesla nearly 200 million in salable tax credits when they choose them for the Gigafactory. Tesla has been selling the tax credits at a discount to Casinos so they can lessen thier tax burden and in turn Tesla has been using those sold credits to help bump the bottom like for a few quarters.

Yeah... no... American cars are cheap for a reason. If the chassis and performance is good its going to fall down somewhere and that’s usually in interior materials or build quality or both.

Supposed to be putting down horsepower in the low 700's to the wheels and if a Ford guy at a trade show is any indication the GT500 will run with the Demon (I assume in street car trim sans 100 octane fuel map) so figure on a crank figure of 750+

I’d drive it, might not drive the shit out of it but had I a 250GTO I would develop a nice patina.

Tesla is in a very precarious situation (they are playing a shell game with saleable tax credits granted by Nevada to produce some quarterly profits) and need to pacify anxious investors that there is indeed a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

I can make it through everything as well if I have the support of wealthy benefactors willing to prop me up!

Naw, once you were comfortable with the car and track you wouldn’t have a problem. I think the hardest part is  accepting the notion that the faster you go the better the car sticks to the road and going too slow would actually leave you in a precarious situation.

I’ll tell you what really sucks! Modern shifters... I thought I had a handle (no pun intended) on things until I had to move a brand new Volvo.

If I get a chance I’ll try and remember to revisit this thread!

You are good at satire! But seriously find a nice open stretch of lonely road where you can see a good ways and just nail it. You’ll find out how tame 435 horsepower is in an S550 GT in time.

Heh... C6 Z06's are a bit notorious for being hard to drive. IIRC GM didn’t finally get the shock calibration right until well into the car’s production run.

Screen name just happen to be where your V8 car redlines from the factory?

GT350 or GT500?

Whelp everything must come to an end. If the US implodes it will probably be a good thing in the long run - just deserts of a sort.

Cena is only 41, granted he might have abused his body into uselessness but 41 isn’t bad.

Heh... the feds will probably have a monetary surplus after the tariff goes into effect. You have a plurality of Americans that hate domestic automobiles and wouldn’t be caught dead in one even if they have to finance them like a 30 year mortgage.

Ffinally GM fixes the greenhouse on the Camaro?

Supposed to come in around 80k. I suspect its going to be a speed king but the soon to be outgoing GT350 (especially the 2019 model which is supposed to be its final year) is going to be the driver’s car. Ford really did a good job with the GT350 and sorting it out plus the 526 horsepower just doesnt overwhelm the

TI6 vs NAV8 that’s built to rev. The M4 just has a flat power curve (somewhat derived from the I6 configuration as well) the TI6 engine is going to feel punchier out of the gate since most turbocharging systems today are big on boost down low and try to augment throttle response as much as they can. Ford’s coyote by

Have they directly compared the SS 1LE and Mustang GT PP2? I remember reading a story where they extrapolated a time based on what Ford told the editor the PP2 package improves over PP1 but I dont remember a heads up comparo?
