TimF101 pretty much nails it plus the chassis probably doesn’t have enough rigidity to handle the power output of a TTV8 - not that I would expect it to fold like a wet cardboard box but the added twist will certainly strain what’s there and wear the car out faster not to mention if he really wanted to do a TTV8 right

Pretty cool but wouldn’t this be less restoration and more “resto-mod”?

Toronto Motorsports Park Cayuga - is a 630 feet above sea level and as best as I could figure on a good to great day the Density Altitude is no better than 1100-1200 feet.

Cayuga is 630 feet above sea level and on a good day DA is probably no better than 1100-1200 feet.

Cayuga is 630 feet above sea-level and they have a DA calculator at the website with a weather search. If you can find the day and time you can calculate the DA and see how the NA Mustang really stacked up.

Another graduate from the Cook-Mencia School of Comedy!

Nobody bys domestic C segment sedans in the US... nobody...

Well on a scale of 1-10 ( 1 being a BMW driver skipping a turn signal and 10 being your post ) I’d rate this 4 series/Mustang baby about a 3

Good question! How does it feel to be a living anachronism trying your damnedest to generate a legacy that will haunt future generations that could care less for generations to come?

People will be assholes! I wonder what sort of noise ordinances Chapel Hill has? I suspect they do have an ordinance for just such an occasion but if not then the doc should tell the cops to kick rocks (realistically probably an unhealthy if not down right martyr like option but I digress).

Well as the saying goes “Money talks and bullshit walks” and Weinstein no doubt still has a considerable pile of cash he can toss toward his defense (as say OJ showed).

Tru’dat! biggest welfare program going in ‘murica!

When you compare defense spending as a portion of GDP the picture looks different. While we are #1 in dollars spent when viewed through the lens of GDP we are #3 trailing behind Saudi Arabia and Russia.

That’ll probably be in the mix while EV’s will probably pay some sort of road use tax of some sort which has been discussed before - the government would most likely average fuel costs for passenger vehicles in the same class and derive a tax based on that or simply require EV owners to submit a yearly mileage total

Closing speed only plays a part in reaction time. If two vehicles are approaching at say 50 mph with a closing speed of 100 mph the force imparted to each vehicle will be based on 50 mph not 100 mph.

16 hours is about my limit for driving regardless after that mental fatigue really starts to set in. Stupidly I’ve driven 20+ (drove straight from Kansas to Virginia non-stop) and ended up with a speeding ticket for my effort.

But they don’t... it will be fine for future generations that will never have encountered an internal combustion engine but for people who grew up with these things and don’t really care about minimizing 0-60 or 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, or mile times or delta V or cutting the absolute minimum lap time no amount of effortless

I’m not a Tesla bro but with the severe lack of wagons in this country ( <facetious statement> go fuck yourselves brodozers bros and you shitty ass SUVs and CUVs and Minivan loyalist </facetious statement> ) I’d rock that!

Was thinking almost the same thing. If the parts are available and in stock for immediate repair then the owner should be sent a letter saying they have 30 days to get the recall issue taken care of.

Feel sorry for them? Not at all - their fate is their own.
