Americans do but its all about cost effective, cheap and reliable horsepower. Also consider the difference in driving styles between America and Europe. In general people are used to low revving torque rich engines in the US. A high revving small displacement high horsepower engine is more or less lost on them outside

This! People seldom do and add to that many cannot understand the correlation between power/aero/gearing/weight and I suppose I should add grip in there as well although people can be forgiven since nobody includes an honest examination in most car reviews beyond the chassis other than mentioning the tires and leaving

Cheaper, there are companies that produce repop FE engines but they would add to the price and whenever I check into them it seems like there are always supply issues coming up.

Well here is hoping that there is a god and Nassar trips up on some steps and ends up a quadriplegic.

“You do not deserve to walk outside a prison again,” she added. “I just signed your death warrant.”

Man I’ve got to agree with Dan Lane. Americans hate American cars!

Now playing

Real Genius was the second best movie of 1985...

Bah... Malcom X Playboy Interview circa May ‘63 (I think that’s it) would like to have a word with you! Where in Malcom cited the ruinous effects of adding milk to stuff! Although I cant remember if he said anything about the inverse operation. Its been quite a few years since I read the reprint interview.

Damn Ford and I’ve been sticking up for you! Shit time to call my therapist and get a lawyer!

Don’t know why I can’t post a pic (fix’d) but they had a pro run VIR and turned in a 2:38.62

Boss cars got the Torsen and maybe the GT500 around the same time but prior to that they had a T-Lok just like every other 8.8 equipped Mustang.

I’ve got a better word...

Of course the fact that the festival had to have a code of conduct is an indictment all its own.

LSD = Limited Slip Differential

Late model Mustangs with a V8 since at least the mid 80's have always had an LSD. They’ve mostly been the clutch type with later cars switching to a Torsen ( I can’t remember if the Torsen arrived with the Boss or the Track Pack ). If it was Fox or later car with a V8 and 8.8 and turned out to be a,one wheel wonder

The ACR had the optional full aero package along with tires, factory team optimizing the car for each track and a factory engineer driving who just also happens to compete in the SCCA when it set the 2:40 time. When some schmuck from C&D drove the ACR in regular form it knocked down a 2:44 lap time.

Well if “victim #48" is an actual count and he is convicted of at least 48 and below the dude is done since the US doesnt do concurrent sentencing. It does consecutive sentencing so he will have to serve each term in order.

Ford doesnt offer a 100k warranty on their gasoline engines 3/60k and 5/100k on the diesels.

Indeed The SS cars were so well sorted they were lapping Milford faster than their Corvette contemporaries.

Zeta Camaro but the Alpha is US
