Meh. MSRP for a 1991 SE was ~$19k. After inflation, that's just about 30k. Money isn't what it used to be.

I will take a special-edition NC with 400 less pounds, a soft top, and flip up headlights.
These aren't available with the 4.0 - only some unnamed 2.0 and 2.2. Crackpipe.
The headlights look weird. Less curves please.
@Rocking a turbodiesel with stick: A) not a car commercial.
so, that's gotta be pretty much the bottom of the depreciation curve, right?
@jedchev: I park in those all the time, because hell, even the Element gets better gas mileage than my old Cutlass.
@Elhigh: That's gorgeous. I love it.
@sr20spitfirehotrod: Actually, I think this looks quite good. Like sacrificing hood integrity for a big stonking motor, sacrificing traditional looks for some sweet ass wheel skirts screams, "this car means business."
My grandfather builds miniature tractors. I was skeptical of the whole thing until the first time I saw one start up. If I lived 3,000 miles west of here, I'd be in his garage every day playing with the things.
@jakebonz: There is a section in downtown in the town I used to live in where there were 8-10 lights going east to west across downtown, depending on the cross street. The speed limit was 30, but if you went 37 you would catch all the greens. 30 would get you 10 red lights in a row. I always suspected it was a ploy…
Somewhat amusing in a "stick it to the man" kind of way, until he chucks it into traffic. Over the line, and into douchebag territory.
@Xander Crews - WRX REASCEND: I'm excited for the stupid price drop we're likely to see once the A380 building slows down, and the USA pulls out of a few wars.
@Sean Incantalupo: The advantage of most LSx miata swaps are subtleness, and huge surprise power.
My wife's grandpa once told me I should put a kill switch (actually, he recommended pulling the distributor cap) in my '93 miata to keep people from stealing it.
@whitehatspecial: Perhaps instead of assuming US drivers are too dumb to park on the flipside, you should assume non-US drivers are too dumb to keep from running out of fuel.
@Spiegel James Olmos: Except most of us don't have Sofia Vergara in our beds. Most of us have aging ladies who are still fun, but have let themselves go a bit. Mine hasn't been washed in years.
@tardis454: Most of em could use (but don't necessarily need) a rebuild by 200k. From the post, it sounds like he screwed up the rebuild, and now has to do it again.
