Could be! If you were talking to my dad, definitely!

I love “Minnesota pissed”. :D I live here too and this is one of the few days I’m ashamed to be Minnesotan. At my office people are Minnesota pissed as well.
Sigur Rós for me.
Hey, it’s Claire! Mine might be a small crock pot that doesn’t have a temperature control. I think it’s for cocktail hot dogs. I did use it a couple years ago for “pickle” for making silver jewelry and it worked pretty well for that. I also like pretty kitchen things that I don’t want to use, such as one of those…
LOL!
Agreed. I was truly unsettled after seeing each of her photos and I do not really want to look at her again.
Posture!
I’m guessing they did it very subtly on us. I saw it being done on my friend but couldn’t tell later on. I actually thought it looked more uniform a color than normal. I liked airbrush. I liked getting my makeup done too because I just can never do it that well. They put fake eyelashes on and everything.
I played in orchestra in middle and high school and this girl in my section etched “Silverchair” into her school-provided viola. I always thought that was really shitty of her. But hey, she was like 14.
I got contoured the other day for a wedding I was in. It was airbrush makeup. I gotta say my face has never looked better, but that was because of the airbrush. I couldn’t tell there was any contouring.
That happened to me with a set of markers. I was like...markers? I guess people want them. I did, after all.

I’m like that with food. I wish I just didn’t have to eat or that I had the ability to just eat the same thing every day like cats do.
I have 2 younger sisters and we have big gaps between us. The youngest one was born in 1993 and she’s like, an important scientist now. And she has never heard of REM.
“Your health is still between your doctor, guys!”
I realized the other day that 18-year-olds were born in 1997. :-|
I stand corrected! :) I only lived in Madison. You’re probably right about what type of area it is. I only go to like, Sephora, Michael’s, and the grocery store. Not a hotbed of activity.
I was in love with a narcissist (I didn’t know it at the time). He also had a few girls going. He had a long-term girlfriend who lived far away. He only mentioned her like 2 times in passing. When we were together, it was all about me. He made me feel like the most important, most beautiful person in the world. But…
I agree with the geographic idea. Like I said elsewhere, I live in the Twin Cities and have always lived in either Wisconsin or Minnesota, and I just don’t see it here. Plus, being in spaces that most of the time don’t favor creepy guys is another thing (like Michael’s or something), and there aren’t very many…
I think it was that post. I think I remember a theme about how it’s all based on what men think anyway which is BS. I did really change my viewpoint for the better after reading it, so thank you!
Good point. I’ll remember that. I always think about this Kinja post someone wrote one time about this issue and it had a good point that I couldn’t remember, but I think it was something like this, where it’s that we give off a don’t mess with me vibe.
