When it comes to free to play games the only money i would invest is what i feel the game is worth, I picked up Tribes Ascends and out of the gate i enjoyed the game felt it had enough content and was great fun so I had no problem giving $30 but did not spend any more. I hate to say this but I really wish consoles gave people graphics settings that pc has so people can choose if they want frame rates, effects and resolution

I do love these type of fan projects, I often wish though that these people would create there own original stuff (perhaps spiritual successor type of deal) and go to crowdfunding as i am sure if they do quality stuff they would get backed pretty easily

Just reminded me that many years ago during Xbox 360 at the start i thought Gamerscore and microsoft points were the same thing and i thought that was a awesome idea play games a lot get points to buy new games or discounts for them.....i was disappointed afterwards though.
