I did not read the books but did enjoy the movie once I was able to ignore the gaping plot holes. I think that's the best way to be able to enjoy these teen angst movies as an adult. Just ignore the shit that makes absolutely no sense.

Who are these people who don't like I Am Legend? Is it because of the ending? Is it because they read the book? If you hold it apart from the book and don't know about the alternate ending it's a damn good movie until the end.
