The notion of a “channel” is quickly becoming antiquated. Nobody watches ‘channels’ anymore, they watch shows.

If it’s not on Netflix or Amazon, I won’t watch it. It’s not food or air, and I’m not paying for a dozen streaming services.

Hmm. I am guessing it will be your ISP doing that. Get 24 Mbps plus these 2 services for $70 a month. Or go all in 1Gbps plus all 11 services for $200 a month. Cut the cord by getting a new cord.

I would still much much rather pay $5 for 5 channels I watch and 3 streaming services I care about, have them all wrapped up to my xbox1 (or whatever gen console it is at the time) and be done with it vs paying $150 for most channels I will never watch and still paying $30 for the streaming services I want. If you put your shipyards facing the sea, not only do you have to deal with the sea weather you are vulnerable to attacks from the sea. Move your shipyards up river, and you have a big chunk of land to act as a buffer for the weather and the attacks.
