I don’t mind the turnpike rest stop gas stations because they are usually staffed with multiple pumpers. I throw a wrench in the works though, I have a fleet fuel card, so I have to tell them mileage and my driver number, which adds to the wasted time in NJ.

The Frogfoot looks more like the YA-9 that was in competition with the A-10 and lost out. Russians spies took pics and blueprints of the wrong one!

I think that is a Legacy, not an Impreza

Moosen

I sat in a Daihatsu

I loved the Tomcat ones growing up (Navy brat here). But my dad redesigned the logo for the squadron he worked for at Pax River. They were ASW and changed to Force Warfare around 1986. His new design took the basic shape ASW had and added a modern touch (for ‘86)—a sword and lightsaber! I can’t find a larger image of

When I did the Skip Barber Intro to Racing school at Lime Rock 14 years ago, they took the class around the track in a big ol’ 15 passenger dodge ram van. There was a lot of white knuckles as the instructor slid us across the track to show us the wet line (it rained a little that morning).

I was going to ask what happened to the 911. Must have been a traumatic removal.

I am amazed at how little “car” there is around his hands and steering wheel area. I pulled up a pic from google to look at a newer car and even though the hands are still somewhat exposed, it looks like there so much more car.

I remember flying the Avro RJ (Northwest) on a few flights—they had a distinct roar as some flap was extended for landing and when retracted after take-off. Some called it the Godzilla roar, I could see people sitting around me freak out a little each time. Loved seeing that plane on my itinerary—it was the only

First thought of tail was Optima:

Legacys don’t come with that feature, only Camrys!

The Honda dealership in Newark DE had one of these in their showroom a few years ago (they may still have it, just haven’t been there in a while). It was in good shape too.

Was this out of Pax River (MD) or was it somewhere else? Looks like the Chesapeake below them.

The speaker phone passenger—I don’t need to hear your whole damn conversation and worry about not making noise in the car while driving. Hold the phone up to your ear, use an earpiece or the damn headphone/microphone that came with the phone.

The passenger that is not paying attention to the road (reading, eating, etc.) but looks up and freaks out about brake lights ahead that you, the driver, have already seen and whose foot is already applying pressure to your own brake pedal. The freak-out can be about anything else that is in front of the vehicle that

My wife was set on our next vehicle—Expedition EL, but looking at 2013's and 2014's and thinking about paying all this money for something that was functionally the same as our 2003 was a little tough. I was able to get her into a 2015 with the Ecoboost and even she could feel the difference. Found a great price on a

While lacking the Yota's predator face, it still has the too busy venting and extra sculpting

This is looking a little too Camry-ish for me, too stretched out and too many vents now. Last model design was pretty clean and nice looking

These aren't necessarily Africanized bees—in the spring, honeybees will form these clusters before they settle into a permanent harborage. Could just be wild honeybees looking for a home...
