I bought a CPO vehicle and bought the dealer extended warranty beyond what the CPO covered (Ford btw). We bough the lower or middle plan, not the top-flight one, but the salesman talked a good game on it, saying it would cover the power windows and other things the CPO wouldn't long term.

This has the same problem as the F-150 to me, heavy front end look with a small bed. It looks too front heavy. Reminds me of the Daschund/Pitt Bull mix that was all over the interwebs (it looks like it is going to fall forward on its face—the truck and the dog):

I need to find a good one, but love engine dyno testing where the headers start to glow, BMW has a few I think

That article is very misleading. The 1/3 of the population death is not all bees, it is for the commercial hives that are moved all over the place for orchards and farms. They have a normal die-off of around 25% every year, one year (2012 or 2013) it was a little higher, but not outside normal percentages. Articles

Stouts were my first love in the craft brew world, and while I have dabbled in hops, I still go back to stouts all through the year. One hoppy one that is still pretty good is Victory Storm King.

I think the front end looks a little too "heavy" for the rest of the truck, it looks unbalanced vs. the rest of the truck, especially the bed. Maybe with a bed cover or something it might even out a bit, but between the grill and the matching chrome on the bumper matching it, it gives an unweighted look to me.

There goes your business—no returns in the winter with all the salt??

He should've just blamed it on the air pressure in his tires...

There is no way for the malaria parasite to get into humans other than the mosquito, so it's not quite that easy. The parasite has a very complex life cycle that involves infecting the mosquito, which then infects us. We then infect the mosquito, which then infects us, so on and so forth...

Anopheles mosquito is #1, due to it spreading Malaria. Hippo is deadliest mammal.

Is there some dark corner of the Mercedes offices where somebody breaks out of their straightjacket every few years and takes a monster engine and stuffs it in their weirdest vehicle?

Just looks ungainly. High greenhouse and shallow bed do not look good. Very "knock-off" looking—F-150 with GM headlights and Toyota rear...No sir, I don't like

That looks like a funky Gumpert Apollo mule

I would've thought the 911 crammed in the back of the i8 would give it the advantage...

These are the top beers he has had for the first time this year, not a list of the top beers...

Had my first Heady Topper on New Year's Eve, so it counts as a 2014 beer for me.

it is a fly. possibly syrphidae, bee mimics. Two wings (vs. 4 you would see on a bee), head capsule (eyes and mouthparts) is dipteran, not homopteran.

insects' nervous systems aren't concentrated in a central brain like ours. A lot of their motor functions are controlled by nerves spread throughout their body. We cut the head off a hissing cockroach in my undergraduate entomology course and it lived for 2 weeks. You would walk into the professor's office to talk and
