I understand what you are saying, and you aren’t wrong, but there are minor changes that could have been made to negate those issues.

Maybe “quit” is too harsh a word... “take a break” is probably more like it. She didn’t lose any mobility, but she is a lot more exposed when rezzing - the loss of invul (which I don’t mind at all), coupled with a really, really wonky LoS make it fairly hard to adjust to for someone who isn’t a twitch-oriented gamer.

Little life tip: other people’s pain doesn’t mean yours is insignificant. There are starving kids in Appalachia - does this mean your complaining about my complaining is irrelevant? No, it means that you had a strong enough opinion to weigh in.

It doesn’t change my base playstyle, either - I’m a temporary guy, too, and always in the thick of it. What it does change is that new ult - it doesn’t fit how I play the game at all. If I’m massive buffing/healing, I’m told I need to be shooting. If I’m shooting... Well, I miss. If I’m trying to multi rez, LOS issues

I don’t disagree about the invulnerability... It was too much. But there are other ways of making changes that don’t make it a different character, a different way of play.

I don’t mind a drastic change, just not one that redefines the hero in its entirety.

Yeah, played on it a couple of hours - most rezzes I’ve managed is two before I’m slaughtered. And the borked LOS for standard rezzing makes Mercy more ult fodder. I’ve never been a hide and wait Mercy, but this is frikkin ridiculous.

A new ult that plays entirely different than before. I mean, it’s not at all the same, and it takes a different skill set to use. If I wanted to fly and kill I’d be Pharah, if I wanted to uberbuff/heal the whole team I’d be Orisa or Lucio, etc.

Everything is cancer if played right. It’s mostly cancer to DPSers who get a quick Q team kill then are pissed when it’s countered by Mercy’s rez.

Thanks! And now my life is fulfilled! (I really appreciate it)

Listening right now... As a Mercy main, I always chuckled at the one-trick pony bit. Mercy takes a lot of situational awareness and I’m interested to hear your thoughts on the matter. I’m miffed by the changes - not against tweaking her, but this makes her an entirely different hero & has turned me off of playing not

Yeah, the guy was kinda heartbroken after everything went down. He’d put a lot of time & energy into a game he loved, and is just a big, lovable goofball. He was having a laugh with his friends, not effecting anyone else’s game with an item he thought was legit. He didn’t bum rush the middle of the opposing capital &

First bondmates - jumped into ironman, and by the end of the second mission, knew these two would have each others’ backs.Or, y’know, fronts. The background and “Hammer and Anvil” were what popped up in my 2nd or third randomize attempts, then I just messed around with poses.

That’s not a cheat, in my book, it’s an aspect of play. But in a single player game like Civ or XCOM going out of my way to activate the console command capabilities then giving myself god-like powers makes me feel like I’m cheating myself out of the joy of the game.

First poster I’ve done, from the first mission of the first game. This was the poster that appeared & it seemed appropriate.

Ack! I shouldn’t have mentioned it!

Hate to say it, but I think Bannon got his start running those gold farms...

Originally, it was an instakill-all-enemies Dev only item. Happened in 09, item was changed later.

Cheating is an interesting thing... I will listen to the podcast later, but on a personal level there is a moral spectrum that I find myself balancing on.

Would you mind updating the article to reflect that this is a $40 DLC? As excited as I am to play this (Damn you, Grayson, and your writing skills), I thought that this was one of the DLCs included with the game. Since it ain’t, I gotta wait! I know you even said it was an expansion, but I are dum sometimes.... most
