Careful... I had BSOD conflicts with TrueCrypt with Ex2 IFS. YMMV!

thanks for taking a stand, Gina!
@Adam Pash: if you ever find an answer, I hope you'll post it on LH! Both those issues are killing me (albeit slowly).
Picasa has a handy feature to show duplicate files.
minor typo: "Ubutnu" in the last clause of the last sentence.
It's probably not the best idea to do this with content that you don't have the rights to...
I'd like to see improvements for GMail in Google Apps. Why aren't there better contact management tools inside Gmail for GApps? You can't have shared contacts or shared tags for contacts, or any number of things that would be truly awesome.
@Joseph: don't merchants pay a fee for credit card payments? It sounds to me like PayPal is just generating numbers on request and not having to issue an actual card. So merchants fees are probably pre-negotiated already (not that the consumer doesn't pay for it in the end really). Pretty clever, idea actually!
@pnikkosis: a "freudian type," perhaps?
Here's a question for anyone who's running this... If I set the middle button to paste, will it still allow me to middle click links to open them or tabs to close them in Firefox? Or do I need an application specific rule for that, which would then not paste in FF?
that is wicked cool. very clever Mark et al!
Does anyone know if a variant of this tweak will work on a Prism app? Since Prism runs on the FF3 xulrunner, there may be a way... I'd like my dedicated gmail app to be my default mail handler.
@GlennA: "but can you make it open in a new tab (without using the Control key)?"
@bluecloud: try my [pipes.yahoo.com] pipe. With a clone and a tweak of the feed URL, you can bend it to your will. It has a rule like what you're looking for.
@Gina Trapani (and anyone else who cares): at some point the site changes messed up the original pipe... so here's a new version, Lifehacker Comment Watch, that scans the comments feed for any comment that contains a username that wasn't written by that user. Gotta love pipes!
@Gina Trapani: Thanks for the reply. I didn't see the tags when I rolled over the "ghost tags"—I have to say that I do miss how they used to appear at the bottom of posts.
TweakUI is a longtime Lifehacker favorite... is this app any better, other than being portable and less multipurpose? The review should really address how the two compare, imho.

the arduino board is pretty cool, but I missed the original post because it wasn't tagged with anything other than "weekend-project"... surely it deserved something more than that?
