Adam, I think it isn't true Woot was purchased by Yahoo—just that they started a joint venture to run Woot-style (and powered) one-day-one-deal under the Yahoo banner. Or maybe someone can disavow me of that notion!

just be sure to consider the total cost of running that repurposed machine... if there is a dedicated device that uses less power it might be more cost effective to buy it rather than run a less efficient full-blown pc.
should note that I tried to read the nytimes article from another link that required logging in rather than the link in the above post that gets you in past the garden wall.

A little more info... I can see my friends/follow list if I append ?op=friendlist to the URL (works on commenter or profile page). Without it, it doesn't appear on either page.

You can do this in Google Earth as well by placing the graphic on the map (tip: change the transparency!). Once you get it sized and positioned, you can fly around above it as usual or toggle it on or off.
Good news! I'd recently given up hope that del.icio.us would ever improve the look/feel and installed a stylish script called del.icio.us+x, that makes it look so much nicer.
Just a quick point — there's already a default option for a Dvorak layout baked into Windows XP/2000/Vista!
